A:No, these products are not suitable for vegans as they contain animal products such as eggs, dairy, gelatine, and honey.
Confektz does not use vegetable gels and/or pectins because we prefer the melting quality, the mouth feel, of the beef gelatine.
A:Do remember that confectionery is best
eaten at room temperature but good chocolate should not be refrigerated
as you lose the complexity of the flavour when it is too cold.
Store
in a cool dry place or in a container in the refrigerator if you prefer for longer
life, BUT remember to take the chill off them before eating.
A: These marshmallows are best eaten before two (2) weeks after purchase. If you want to keep them longer you may want to ask for preservative to be added. Other products come with best before dates.
Q: Are the marshmallows and nougats safe for pregnant women and young children to eat because of the egg whites in them?
A:Yes, the egg white is cooked when the boiling sugar syrup is poured into the whipped egg whites.
